Charlton - Club Meeting
Heat 1 I started out of 2 beside Shaney Mac. Shane drifted wide out of turn 1/2 allowing me to slip up the inside and take the lead. With one lap to go, Dennis Bullpitt shot up the inside going into turn 3 to take the lead, but the yellows came on and the race was declared, going back a lap and giving me the win.
Heat 2 I started off the rear with the reverse grid. I ended up 4th behind Robert Trapp. Colin Hockley took the win with Dennis Bullpitt putting pressure on him as the race went on.
A-main I started out of 3 with Hockley and Bullpitt off the front row. Dennis drifted high which let me follow Hockley through. I stayed behind Hockley for around 8 laps, Colin making a sight mistake and allowed me through. We swapped back the lead a few times throughout the race, but I ended up taking the win with Hockley in 2nd and Shane Dennis in 3rd. Shaney Mac was in 4th spot when on the last lap came into heavy contact with the expired car of Ian Galvin causing extensive front end damage to the 27 car.
