Ford Vs Holden Showdown 31/12/06
After missing out last meeting with a rain out, we hit the track again this weekend at our home track, Charlton Raceway.
The club had decided to run a Ford Vs Holden showdown with the local Modified Production drivers. Racing for the Fords was Royce Ernst, Dennis Bullpitt and Mark Ferguson. Flying the flag for the Holdens was myself, Shane Macdonald and Robert Trapp. It was a fun night of racing with Holdens just coming out on top. It was a great chance for the local guys who are mostly all new to the class to get used to their cars and get valuable time on the track. Every driver had their chance to be up the front and it showed how close the drivers all are.
